Israel sends 'Brother David' home to US

TEL AVIV, Israel, Nov. 5 (UPI S) Israel Friday deported a U.S. citizen who led a suspected apocalyptic Christian group in Jerusalem and had eluded deportation for more than a decade. The man, whom Israeli authorities had known only as ''Brother David,'' was identified as David William Gardner of Syracuse, N.Y. U.S. authorities provided documents that facilitated the identification and deportation, Israeli police reported.
